Fireworks MX Advanced is the Third and final class of a 3-part course; students are required to have access to the Internet and basic Internet and computer (file structure) knowledge, taken the Introduction and Intermediate to Fireworks MX class, have Fireworks MX or Fireworks 4 software installed in their computer and the course book “ Visual Quickstart Guide Macromedia Fireworks MX for Windows and Macintosh by Sandee Cohen” ISBN 0-201-79479-9. The student is responsible for following the book and doing all the work, weekly quizzes online and weekly assignments, along with a final assignment due the last week of the course.

Assessment:


Self-assessment by student successfully completing exercises and assignments as directed by the instructor, review of various finished projects with written feedback. Projects submitted to instructor on a weekly basis for grading. When student has completed the third and final part of the course he/or she will have the capability of loading commercial images on to their website, learn the proper compression for files and overall layout and design have various effects applied to their text, link work to dreamweaver or simple html, be able to create animations and other advanced effects buttons, create drop down menus for websites. A website can have the best information in the world but if it is not properly design and has good graphics users won’t go back to it, so this class will help you create a more professional website.
