This course is designed to help you establish, and answer questions you have, about starting a home based medical billing business. The course is designed to guide you on how to establish yourself as a medical billing company. Additionally, this course is also designed to guide you on how to market your services with mailers, what to expect when you hear from a potential client, and pricing your services. The contents of this course will give you an outline of what to expect, say, and bring with you when you meet with a provider. Everything from start up costs, materials needed, brochures, postcards, presentations, and contracts will be discussed in this course.

Outcomes:

This is designed as a self-directed course; however students will have the opportunity to ask questions and have their marketing material reviewed.

Assessment:

Students will have the option of establishing their marketing budget along with various ideas to begin a marketing campaign.
