This course provides an overview of Asbestos, its history, its health hazards, OSHA regulations concerning work with Asbestos and safe practices to follow when handling Asbestos.



Outcomes:


By completing this course you will learn to:
  1. Determine the properties and history of Asbestos
  2. Define OSHA regulations when working with Asbestos
  3. Describe the health hazards posed by Asbestos
  4. Describe the safe handling of Asbestos including its disposal and recommended PPE


Assessment:


Students may master the course/s by achieving a percentage at or above 70% for each individual lesson, through their scoring results of the course questions, the skill assessment, or a combination of both.
