This course provides an overview of ladders (both portable and fixed) and stairways. Ladder types, safe use, inspection/maintenance and housekeeping are discussed.



Outcomes:


By completing this course you will learn to:
  1. Define fixed and portable ladders
  2. Describe types of portable ladders
  3. Determine safe use of portable ladders
  4. Explain the importance of inspection/maintenance and housekeeping


Assessment:


Students may master the course/s by achieving a percentage at or above 70% for each individual lesson, through their scoring results of the course questions, the skill assessment, or a combination of both.
